Name released of 28-year-old man fatally shot in Cleveland

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Cleveland police launched a homicide investigation Wednesday after officers say a 28-year-old was shot.

Officers say they were called out around 9:30 p.m. to the 12700 block of Harvard Avenue when an alert tipped them off to the shooting.

There, officers found the victim, identified as D’Andre Burley, of Cleveland, shot multiple times.

Burley later died at a hospital, according to police.

The homicide remains under investigation. There’s no word on any arrests.
