Grand jury indicts man accused of kidnapping Medina 3-year-old
MEDINA, Ohio (WOIO) - A Medina County Grand Jury indicted the Seville man accused of kidnapping a three-year-old girl from her home earlier this month.
Randy Lawrence Kerley was indicted on the charges of kidnapping and burglary.
Kerley is scheduled to be arraigned on Nov. 3. He remains locked up in the Medina County Jail on a $750,000 bond.
Medina police said Kerley, 39, worked with the girl’s mother.
Kerley allegedly abducted the child from her Lafayette Township home on Oct. 22 while her grandmother was babysitting.
Multiple officers searched for more than two hours before an anonymous tip led them to a residence on Buffham Road in Westfield Township.
