Teacher pleads guilty after being accused of using AI to make sexual videos of 8 students
CORINTH, Miss. (WMC/Gray News) - A teacher in Mississippi pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography after being accused of using artificial intelligence to create sexually exploitative videos of students.
Wilson Jones was arrested in March after police identified eight female students, ages 14 to 16, as victims of AI-generated videos depicting them in sexually exploitative acts.
Authorities confirmed the victims were never filmed, and the footage was entirely AI-generated.
Jones pleaded guilty Friday and could be sentenced to up to 10 years in prison. He will also be required to register as a sex offender.
Former Corinth School District Superintendent Edward Lee Childress was also indicted for failing to report Jones to authorities.
