Cleveland Police vs. Fire Face Off: Charity hockey game to benefit families of fallen officers

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - First responders will battle it out on the ice Thursday in a charity hockey game at Rocket Arena.

The second annual Police vs. Fire Face-Off is happening ahead of the Monsters game against the Bears.

The first responder game starts at 4:30 p.m.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the families of fallen Ohio police officers.

This year, the departments are recognizing fallen Lorain Officer Phillip Wagner and Cleveland Recruit Cortez Smith.
