Police search near Harvey High School after report of gunfire

PAINESVILLE, Ohio (WOIO) - Police officers were called out the area near Harvey High School after gunfire was heard Thursday morning.

Police searched around W. Walnut Avenue, but said they could find no evidence of gunfire.

Police added they were in communication with Painesville City Local Schools officials and “a lockdown was not warranted based on the lack of activity.”
