Ravenna police investigate fatal train collision involving a pedestrian

RAVENNA, Ohio (WOIO) - The Ravenna Police Department are investigating a train crash that resulted in fatal injuries to a pedestrian that occurred Friday afternoon.

According to police, the train is owned by CSX and was travelling westbound on the CSX tracks between Chestnut Street and Diamond Street.

Officers say this incident remains under investigation and no further information is being released at this time.
