63-year-old woman dies in Medina County car crash

MEDINA COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) - A 63-year-old Lodi woman was killed in a traffic crash Monday evening in Lafayette Township.

The Summit County Medical Examiner identified the victim as Pegeen Razem.

According to the medical examiner, Razem was a passenger in a vehicle that was involved in a two-car accident in the 7600 block of Friendsville Rd. in Lodi around 5:10 p.m.

Medina police said when officers arrived, one car was on its roof and the other vehicle had significant front-end damage.

Multiple people, including, Razem, were transported to area hospitals.

Razem was transported to Lodi Community Hospital and then transferred to Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital where she died from her injuries several hours later.

Friendsville Road was closed for several hours.

Police said the crash remains under investigation.
