CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Luca Marrelli scored a power-play goal early and Mikael Pyyhtiä and Hudson Fasching each scored twice as the Cleveland Monsters held off the Milwaukee Admirals 6-5 on Saturday night at Rocket Arena.

Cleveland (35-25-6-1) remained third in the AHL’s North Division. Milwaukee fell to 29-29-4-3.

The Admirals took a 3-2 lead after one period, but the Monsters surged ahead in the second on two goals from Pyyhtiä and one from Fasching to lead 5-3 after 40 minutes. Milwaukee pulled within one twice in the third, but Cleveland protected the lead down the stretch.

Zach Sawchenko made 19 saves for Cleveland. Magnus Chrona stopped 30 shots for Milwaukee.

The Monsters play the Rochester Americans on Monday, April 6 at 7:00 p.m. at Rocket Arena.
