CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - It’s been more than a month since 12-year-old Kamile Stover was reported missing in Cleveland, and her mother says the worry is constant.

“Every time I try to sleep or eat or do anything, she’s just on my mind 24/7,” said Kamile Stover’s mother Latisha Jackson.

Police say Kamile was last seen March 25 on Gaylord Avenue near East 93rd Street.

She is described as:

  • 12 years old
  • 5 feet tall,
  • about 118 pounds
  • Brown hair and brown eyes

She was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and white pajama pants with red hearts.

Jackson says her daughter was staying at a group home in the area when she ran away.

“It’s very frustrating cause she’s only 12 and she’s been gone for so long,” Jackson said. “How could she eat? How she’s been able to change her clothes? Like it’s mind-boggling.”

Jackson says this isn’t the first time her daughter has gone missing, and she believes Kamile may be with other people, similar to a previous incident.

“That’s why this is scary, she has run away before, but she’s came back like within a few days. It’s never been this long,” she said.

Cleveland Police say they’re working urgently to find Kamile and bring her home safely. Meanwhile, Jackson says she’s been posting on social media and hanging flyers throughout the area, praying for her daughter’s safe return.

“I pray every day, so I have faith in God,” she said.

Jackson also shared a message directly to her daughter: “I love you, Kamile. All your family loves you. We need you here. We miss you. We want to make sure your safe.”

Jackson adds that if her daughter is found, she wants to press charges against those she believes are responsible.

“Whoever is keeping her, I do want to prosecute because it’s been over a month and she’s a minor and I did not give you permission to have her that long. So, I will be filing charges if I find out who she’s with,” Jackson said.

She is also known to be in the area of E 105th Street and Ansel Road.

Those with information on her whereabouts are encouraged to contact the Fourth District Bureau at 216-623-5400 or the non-emergency line at 216-621-1234.
