Child pornography investigation leads to arrest in Wyandot County

WYANDOT Co., Ohio (WTVG) - A 21-year-old man was arrested Thursday after a search warrant in an investigation involving the dissemination of child pornography.

According to a press release from the Wyandot County Major Crimes Unit, Clayton Hare, 21, was arrested and is being held at the Wyandot County Jail pending formal charges for pandering obscenity involving a minor.

On April 30, the Wyandot Major Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at a home on County Highway 86 after receiving a tip from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

According to the release, several electronic devices were seized from the home as part of the investigation.

Additional charges related to child pornography may be filed following a review by the Wyandot County Prosecutor.
