Lorain County launches live mosquito-trap website

LORAIN COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) - Lorain County Public Health announced the launch of its live mosquito-trap website Sunday.

According to a Facebook post from the county health agency, the new website allows residents to view in real time the locations of mosquito traps throughout their community and stay informed about surveillance efforts.

The map on the website also provides West Nile virus test results and educational resources on mosquito bite prevention.

The agency encouraged residents to visit the website during this mosquito season.
