Car drives into Warren Planet Fitness; 2 hospitalized, fire officials say

WARREN, Ohio (WOIO) - The Warren City Fire Department responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident Monday evening.

According to the fire department, the call was made for the 2000 block of Elm Road NE for a vehicle that drove into the Planet Fitness with entrapment.

When crews arrived on scene, they reported that the vehicle was fully into the building.

When they entered the structure, police, EMS and fire crews loaded two victims with no entrapment.

Warren Fire said the scene was secured and the victims were transported to a nearby hospital by EMS.

Both victims were from inside the vehicle, and no one inside the Planet Fitness was injured, fire fighters said.
