Sen. Husted demands Rep. Max Miller resign, withdraw from election

Ohio (WOIO) - U.S. Sen. Jon Husted issued a statement Thursday on social media demanding Rep. Max Miller resign from Congress and withdraw from the election.

In a statement shared on X, Husted called for the House Ethics Committee to “thoroughly investigate” allegations and added that any member found guilty should resign.

Toward the end of the statement, Husted calls for Miller to resign from Congress and “step aside as a candidate” in the interest of his daughter.

According to AP, the House Ethics Committee confirmed Tuesday that it opened an investigation into Miller concerning domestic abuse allegations.
