US Marshals recover children missing from Lorain County in Indiana

ELYRIA, Ohio (WOIO) - U.S. Marshals recovered two missing children Monday in Indiana and arrested their mother.

Asiah Brown, 26, is facing charges of interference with custody, according to a news release.

Marshals said the children, aged 1 and 4, were reported missing Sept. 16 during a court hearing.

Marshals said they worked with Elyria police throughout the investigation and learned that Brown had the children.

She was indicted Sept. 24 in Lorain County and tracked to Indiana, according to the release.

Marshals said a task force recovered the kids earlier Monday and made the arrest.

The children will now return from Indiana to Ohio.
