Man hit by train on Cleveland, Lakewood border

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - A man was rushed to the hospital Tuesday morning after being struck by a train on the Cleveland/Lakewood border.

This happened around 4 a.m. on W. 117th Street.

Several major intersections were closed during the investigation.

Everything was re-opened around 6 a.m.

The victim, whose name has not been released, is being treated at MetroHealth Medical Center.
