Several Northeast Ohio police agencies help track down suspect wanted for domestic violence

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - A suspect wanted for domestic violence, a parole violation, and fleeing from police was taken into custody in tandem with several Northeast Ohio law enforcement agencies Thursday night, according to Garfield Heights Police.

Police pursued the suspect from Garfield Heights into the area of East 126th and Abell Avenue in Cleveland, where they stopped the vehicle using the PIT maneuver.

The male ran but was taken into custody after being tased by an officer during a short foot pursuit.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol, Ohio Investigative Unit, and Cleveland Police all helped in the pursuit and apprehension of the suspect, according to Garfield Heights Police.
