MINI NOT MOUNTED UNIT
The Cleveland Division of Police Mounted Unit welcomed and announced the names of its two new miniature ponies, named Valor and Grace!
REMEMBER THE HORSES ON A HIGHWAY?!
Well, this does not happen everyday in Cleveland, but it did in March 2024...
Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) cameras captured Cleveland police officers on a wild chase involving two horses that got loose on I-90 near Dead Man’s Curve.
Cleveland Police Sgt. Wilfredo Diaz confirmed the horses are members of the department’s mounted division.
Thankfully, nobody got hurt while the duo was horsing around.

There’s new hooves on the move with the Lorain County Sheriff’s Office!
LCSO proudly announced their Mounted Unit made a triumphant return after over half a century with the arrival of their first horse since the 1960s.
WORLD ANIMAL REMEMBRANCE MONTH
If love alone could keep our pets here, they would live forever. But I know that all dogs go to heaven - along with the rest of our friends with fur, feathers, tails, or scales. And even long they cross over the rainbow bridge comes, their pawprints on our hearts remain stay with us on earth always, perhaps a little more so in September during World Animal Remembrance Month. And while none of us wants to think about the heartbreak our hardest goodbye brings, Eternal Paws shows us how you can best honor all the love they gave us in their life.
