Semi flips on Dead Man’s Curve, causes major back-up

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - A truck driver lost control on Dead Man’s Curve early Thursday morning and flipped the vehicle on its side.
The accident happened on I-90 east just before 3 a.m.
The driver had to be cut out of the the cab of the box trailer by Cleveland firefighters.
After being extracted from the cab, Cleveland EMS transported him to MetroHealth Medical Center. His condition has not been released.
Dead Man’s Curve is completely shut down and police are telling drivers to avoid the area.
Officials said between 90,000 and 120,000 vehicles travel through Dead Man’s Curve on a daily basis.
