Browns Give Back hosts fifth annual Halloween Fashion Show
The show featured Browns players and pediatric cancer patients
CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - For one night, pediatric cancer patients forgot about worries while Browns players forgot about wins.
The players and patients only cared about Halloween.
“It’s all about the kids at the end of the day... it’s a privilege to have this platform to give back. It brightens up my day just as much as it does for these kids,” said kicker Andre Szmyt, dressed as a banana.
Browns Give Back, the charitable arm of the Cleveland Browns, hosted its fifth annual Halloween Fashion Show Monday night.
“We’re creating positive moments, great memories. And then on top of that, just having some fun for these couple of moments,” said linebacker Quincy Williams, while wearing a purple Joker suit.
Patients from University Hospitals and The Littlest Heroes walked alongside ten players from the Browns, including K.C. Concepcion, Grant Delpit, Spencer Fano, Quinshon Judkins and Quincy Williams.
“It’s a priviledge to be in the position that we’re in. To be able to give back to these kids and make their day a little is all we’re working to do,” said Bay Village native Rex Sunahara, while wearing Giraffe pajamas.
