Police: Akron Man Fatally Shot while Standing on the Sidewalk

AKRON, OH (WOIO) - The Summit County Medical Examiner's Office and the Akron Police are investigating the homicide death of Anthony Felding, a 21-year-old male from Glendora Avenue in Akron.

Police tell 19 Action News that on May 28th around 1:45 pm Mr. Felding was shot while standing on the sidewalk in the 100 block of Mildred Avenue in Akron.

Mr. Felding was transported to Akron City Hospital where he later died from his injuries several hours later.

An autopsy is scheduled for Saturday.
