Nearly two years after his murder, the wife of a Cleveland firefighter will appear in court Thursday morning to answer to charges in her husband's death.

Uloma Walker-Curry has been charged with aggravated murder in the death of Lt. William Walker.

Walker, a 15-year veteran of the fire department, was shot to death outside his home on Lampson Road in November 2013.

According to court documents, Walker-Curry is accused of seeking out and paying several men to murder her husband.

The documents show as a result of her actions, her husband was shot to death.

Chad Padgett was arrested earlier this summer. He is charged with aggravated murder in Walker's death. Padgett is being held on a $1 million bond.

Police say Padgett ambushed Walker outside of his east side home.

On that day, neighbors detailed what they heard to 911 operators.

One neighbor described what sounded like terror in the voice of Walker's wife just moments after he was shot.

"I heard the gunshots, then I could see people down there. And she was screaming. I could hear her screaming he's been shot," the caller said.

During Padgett's arraignment earlier this month, prosecutors revealed that Padgett had dated the victim's step-daughter at one time.

Police still have not released a motive in the crime.
