Mom accused of killing daughter in own home

EASTLAKE, OH (WOIO) - An Eastlake woman is locked up on a $100,000 bond. Police say she killed her daughter, 21-year-old Mindy Speck, in their apartment.
Police were called to Surfside Towers Monday and when they arrived Speck was already dead.
During the investigation police determined that Speck was killed by her mother, Sandra Speck, 50.
Sandy was arraigned in Willoughby Municipal Court and is being held in the Lake County Jail.
According to police Sandra had no criminal record and had been living in the city for less than a year with no other criminal police contacts.
