Woman sues Elyria McDonald's, claims razor blade in McMuffin injured her throat

ELYRIA, OH (WOIO) - An Akron woman is suing an Elyria McDonald's after she says she bit into a razor blade in a sandwich back in April.
Elizabeth McDonald filed the lawsuit Friday in Lorain County Common Pleas Court against the McDonald's on 1010 E. Broad Street and McDonald's corporate.
The woman claims in the lawsuit she ordered an egg McMuffin on April 2, but found a razor blade inside after biting into the sandwich. She claims the blade, commonly used to scrape food while cleaning, caused her to choke. She claims she suffered injuries on the inside of her throat.
She's suing for an amount in excess of $25,000 in damages.
