MARYSVILLE, Ohio (AP) - Authorities say a small plane has crashed near Marysville in central Ohio, killing the pilot.
A State Highway Patrol dispatcher says there were no other passengers aboard a 1980 multiengine Beechcraft that went down in a field less than a mile from a runway at the Union County Airport.
The victim's name has not been released, but the patrol says he was a 33-year-old man from Marysville.
The dispatcher says the patrol got a report about 10:30 a.m. Thursday that a plane had crashed and burst into flames.
