Amazon’s first ever toy catalog uses tech to make shopping even easier
Toys 'R' Us loss, is retail giant’s gain

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -This holiday shopping season anyone looking for toys is having to find something other than the one time staple, Toys "R" Us.
So it’s not surprising to see retailers like Walmart and Amazon up their games when it comes to toys.
For the first time ever, Amazon is sending millions of its toy catalogs to users, and as you would expect there’s a high tech component.
Many of the 60 plus pages have a QR code that when scanned through the Amazon app will take the user straight to categories or brands like L.O.L. Surprise or Nerf.

The catalog also has an entire page of stickers that kids can use to mark which toys they’re hoping to see under the tree.

One point of note, there are no prices listed in the catalog meaning as prices change throughout the shopping season for popular toys, Amazon is free to change what its charging as well.
