Commuter Cast: Hurricane Zeta fuels Northeast Ohio rain

LIVE NOW: Join Jeff and Jamie to find out what you need to know on this Disruptive Weather Day.

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Northeast Ohio’s Thursday forecast will be rainy due to the impact of Hurricane Zeta.

While the rain threat continues through Thursday night, most of the rain is expected to fall in the first half of the day.

There are slow downs in Akron due to earlier accident on I-77 northbound. The accident caused a 2 mile backup.

Today will be cold, and tomorrow won’t be any different.

Jamie recommends taking extra precautions when traveling through construction zones in the rain.

Lessened visibility can increase risk of striking cones, she said.
