United Airlines Super Bowl ad gives Cleveland Browns fans hope...sort of (video)
CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) -In advance of the Super Bowl, United Airlines has released its regional ads and one specifically targets Cleveland Browns fans.
The ad features a blood pumping message from Emmy-award winning actor Kyle Chandler, that ‘next year’ may in fact be Cleveland’s year to make it to the big game.
The ad speaks to ambitious Browns fans who may book a plane ticket to next season’s Super Bowl and then promptly finishes with a, “But just in cases...” message.
The goal of the ad is to remind all United travelers the airline eliminated change fees in 2020 and according to the airline has since saved its passengers $2 billion.
But before you start thinking the Cleveland pep talk will be seen, and possibly mocked, by NFL fans across the county just know this is a regional spot.
There is a generic ad addressing all football fans and there are customized ads for Chicago, Denver, Houston and Kansas City as well.
