CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Cleveland pickleball players rejoice! Funds for a new facility in the Bellaire-Puritas neighborhood were approved by Cleveland City Council during the Monday night meeting.

Council shared a press release saying it approved entering into a grant agreement with the Euerle Group Monday night to provide $100,000 in economic development assistance.

The money will be used to partially finance renovating the building at 12400 Crossburn Avenue into an indoor pickleball facility, officials say.

“The new facility will have 10 pickleball courts and transform what is now a long-closed, empty building,” according to the press release from city council.
