Wanted: Cleveland man on the run accused of raping child

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) -This week’s Cuyahoga’s Most Wanted features a Cleveland fugitive facing rape charges and the victim is under the age 13.

According to Crime Stoppers of Cuyahoga County, Mario Palechka was indicted in 2021.

After failing to show up for his arraignment in October of 2022 a warrant was issued for his arrest and he’s been on the run ever since.

The Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Department has an active warrant for the arrest of Palechka.

Palechka is facing the following charges:

• Rape (2 counts)
• Gross sexual imposition (2 counts)

Mario is described as 5′11″ and 160 pounds and was last known to be staying in the 3800 block of W. 17th Street in Cleveland.
