Police ask for help identifying suspects allegedly involved in Edgewater Beach shooting
CLEVELAND, Ohio- Cleveland Metroparks Police Department and Cuyahoga County Prosecutor are asking for the public’s assistance in finding several suspects who are accused of being involved in a shooting incident where an 18-year-old man was hit and seriously injured Saturday evening at Edgewater Beach.
Authorities released photos Thursday showing the suspects, and they shared even more photos Friday.
The 17-year-old suspect in the shooting faces charges of felonious assault and several gun charges.
Metroparks Police Department says on June 22, multiple suspects exchanged gunfire at Edgewater Park. There were approximately 16 people who brandished weapons with several of them discharging their firearms.
Police ask anyone with information related to the incident and people involved is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 216-252-7463 or scan the QR. Tips may be submitted anonymously. Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $5,000 reward for any information that leads to the identification and arrest of the persons responsible for this crime.
The Metroparks announced that they canceled Thursday’s Summer Concert out of caution.
