1 man dies in double shooting on Cleveland’s West Side

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - A 52-year-old man was killed in a double shooting Friday afternoon on the city’s West side.

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner identified the victim as Leonardo Rodriguez, of Cleveland.

A 30-year-old male was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center in serious condition.

The shooting happened at W. 44th Street and South Marginal.

According to Cleveland police, an officer responding to the scene was involved in an accident. The officer’s condition has not been released.
