Child found in car with 89 fentanyl pills during Orrville traffic stop
ORRVILLE, Ohio (WOIO) - A woman was arrested last week after law enforcement officers said they found 89 pressed fentanyl pills during a traffic stop.
A toddler and an adult male passenger were also in the car during the traffic stop on Dec. 6, according to the Medway Drug Enforcement Agency.
Medway Agents, Wayne County Sheriff deputies, and Orrville police officers said they were conducting surveillance on a known drug trafficker, who was out on bond, and stopped the vehicle for violations.
The driver, a Wooster resident, was transported to the Wayne County Jail and is awaiting on charges. Her name has not been released at this time.
Medway agents said the toddler was placed into custody with Wayne County Children Services.
