Elyria’s Expresso Bakery set to close its doors again

ELYRIA, Ohio (WOIO) - Expresso Bakery in Elyria is closing its doors again.

In February 2023, a car slammed into the back of the bakery, injuring the driver and an employee.

The bakery was closed for nine months before reopening.

Expresso Bakery posted on its Facebook page, thanking its customers and announcing its closing in January.

The bakery will remain open until Dec. 22 and reopen for a part of January before closing until a new owner is secured.

“We have made the decision to place the shopping center and bakery on the market, with the hope of finding a suitable individual to carry on the Expresso Bakery legacy,” read the Facebook post.
