Cleveland police investigate double homicide in Slavic Village

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Two people were fatally shot in the city’s Slavic Village neighborhood early Tuesday morning.

Cleveland police and EMS were called out to Warner Road and Jeffries Avenue around 1 a.m. for a report of a car hitting a pole.

When they arrived, they found two people suffering from gunshot wounds.

Both victims have died from their injuries.

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner has identified both of the deceased as 17-year-old Khalyn White, and 16-year-old Julius Barron.

At this time, there are no arrests.
