$5K reward for information on East Cleveland murder

EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Police are investigating the early morning fatal shooting of a 40-year-old man.

East Cleveland Acting Police Chief Ken Lundy said officers were called out to the 1700 block of Shaw Ave. around 1:45 a.m. for a report of shots fired.

The arriving officer located the victim with a gunshot wound to the head and immediately rendered first aid.

EMS transported the victim, whose name has not been released, to University Hospitals where he was pronounced dead.
