19-year-old found dead in shot up vehicle on I-480

BEDFORD HEIGHTS, Ohio (WOIO) - A 19-year-old was found dead on a major interstate in Bedford Heights on Saturday.

According to Bedford Heights Fire Department (BHFD), firefighters found the scene on I-480 near the Rockside Road exit.

BHFD found a car with gunshots and a victim dead inside.

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner has identified the victim as 19-year-old Johndiel Sanchez Rivera.

All lanes on I-480 West at I-271 were closed for the investigation earlier on Saturday.

In total, I-480 was closed for about four hours before it reopened, according to ODOT.

The BHFD said the investigation was turned over to the Bedford Heights Police Department.
