34-year-old Cleveland man fatally shot

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - The 34-year-old Cleveland man who was fatally shot inside a home on Parkgate Avenue early Monday morning was identified by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner as De’Ante Kidd.

The shooting happened around 1 a.m. Monday in the 10000 block of Parkgate Avenue, near East Blvd.

This is in the city’s Glenville neighborhood.

Cleveland Police said initial reports suggested the suspect had barricaded himself inside a nearby home.

The SWAT Team surrounded the home for several hours, until they learned the suspect was not there.

The suspect remains on the run and anyone with information is urged to call Cleveland Police.
