Lyndhurst Police investigate murder of 38-year-old man
LYNDHURST, Ohio (WOIO) - Police are investigating the weekend murder of a 38-year-old man.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner identified the victim as Dorian Holt, of Lyndhurst.
According to the medical examiner, Holt was transported from his home on South Sedgewick Road to Hillcrest Hospital around 7:15 p.m. on Aug. 8.
Holt was pronounced dead at the hospital later that same day.
Lyndhurst Police Chief Patrick Rhode said Holt was shot by a known male acquaintance following an argument that happened in Holt’s garage.
The suspect fled the scene and was arrested several hours later, with the help of the U.S. Marshals, in Cincinnati, said Chief Rhode.
At this time, the suspect’s name is not being released.
