STARK COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) - A driver was killed in a fiery, four-vehicle crash in Osnaburg Township just before 5 p.m. Thursday.

Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers said the driver of a suspected Ford Escort was stopped behind a Chevy Silverado on U.S. Route 30, waiting for the pick-up truck to turn left on Cindell Street SE.

Troopers said a Ford F-150 traveling eastbound on U.S. Route 30 then struck the suspected Ford Escort.

The impact pushed the vehicle into the Silverado and both the F-150 and the suspected Ford Escort caught on fire.

Troopers said the driver of the suspected Ford Escort suffered fatal injuries at the scene. The Stark County Coroner is working on a positive identification.

The driver of both the Silverado and the F-150 suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were treated on the scene, said troopers.

A fourth driver in a Tesla, was westbound on U.S. Route 30 and was struck by debris from the crash.

Troopers said the crash remains under investigation and no charges have been filed.
