EUCLID, Ohio (WOIO) - The FBI says a man robbed a bank Tuesday with a fake bomb.
It happened around 12:40 p.m. at the Fifth Third Bank in the 22400 block of Lakeshore Blvd.
According to the FBI and Euclid police, a man walked into the bank and waited in line before placing down a note and shoebox.

He allegedly told the teller a bomb was inside the box.
The FBI says he got away with cash, abandoning the so-called bomb, which they later determined was fake.
He reportedly fled in a blue Chevy Impala with no tags, heading south toward Cleveland.

- Approximately 5-foot-10, medium build
- Wearing a tan track suit jacket with stripes down the sleeve and matching pants
- White sneakers
- Blue latex gloves
- A Covid mask
- Black hat
- Glasses
- Carrying a black bag
