WANTED: Cleveland woman accused of prostituting a child, on the run

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) -This week’s Cuyahoga’s Most Wanted features a Cleveland woman facing multiple charges including prostituting a child under the age of 16-year-old.

According to Crime Stoppers of Cuyahoga County, an investigation by the Northeast Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force led to the arrest of Angela Garcia who faces 10 charges including two counts of trafficking in persons.

Human trafficking is not limited to the physical movement of a person from one place to another.

It also includes keeping someone under your control and using them to commit sex crimes like prostitution.

Garcia was on a GPS monitor, but at some point cut it off and has been on the run since.

She is now facing the following list of charges:

  • Trafficking in persons x2
  • Compelling prostitution
  • Promoting prostitution (human trafficking specification)
  • Corrupting another with drugs
  • Forgery, forging ID card
  • Theft/aggravated theft
  • Receiving stolen property
  • ID fraud
  • Attempted theft/aggravated theft

Garcia is 5’6” and 180 pounds and was last known to be staying in the 3400 block of West 46th Street in Cleveland.
