Columbus Aviators head coach, former Ohio State star arrested for DWI in Texas
The Aviators are set to face the Dallas Renegades at noon on Sunday

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Head coach of the Columbus UFL team and former Ohio State wide receiver, Ted Ginn Jr., was arrested in Texas on Saturday.
According to the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office in Texas, Ginn was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated.

19 News has reached out to the sheriff’s office for more details on the arrest.
In December 2025, Ginn was named the first head coach for the Columbus Aviators.
The Aviators are scheduled to face the Dallas Renegades at noon on Sunday.
