CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - University Hospitals (UH) shared a statement Wednesday that patients are still unable to access MyChart.

Last week, the hospital experienced a cybersecurity incident that led to the system being disconnected.

A spokesperson for UH said it’s important to note that, through the dedication and professionalism of our doctors, nurses and other caregivers, the vast majority of appointments and procedures have continued as normal.

Patients are seeing virtually no impact on the level of care they receive, the statement said.

Although MyChart is down, University Hospitals remain open for business and serving the community.

“We are working around the clock to restore that accessibility,” the spokesperson said. “Until then, we are calling patients to remind them of upcoming appointments. We apologize to our patients for the inconvenience this is causing.”
