Warrant issued for suspect in shooting of 2 teens

Cleveland Police have issued a warrant for a suspect wanted in connection to a shooting earlier this week, in which two young teens were shot.

A 13-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy are both recovering after being shot near the intersection of East 117th and St. Clair on Tuesday night.

Witnesses told police this was a gang shooting in connection to a robbery that happened earlier in the day by Glenville High School.

Everton Gillings is described as a 23-year-old black male standing 5'7" tall, weighing 130 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Police say he is known to frequent the areas of East 185th and St. Clair, Larchmont Avenue, and R.J. Taylor Park.

Anyone with more information on this shooting, or the whereabouts of Gillings, is encouraged to call Cleveland Police at 216-621-1234.
