60-year-old man found shot to death in Akron
AKRON, OH (WOIO) - A homicide investigation is underway after a 60-year-old man was shot to death in Akron.
Police were called to a residence in the 400 block of Zahn Drive just after 6 p.m. Thursday.
They arrived to find Emanuel McMillan suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
McMillan was transported to Cleveland Clinic Akron General Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 6:38 p.m.
Witnesses reported hearing shots fired and then observed a short and thin black male wearing a medium green hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans running from the apartment towards Thurmont Street.
No arrests have been made.
