Brook Park police investigate homicide of 18-year-old

BROOK PARK, Ohio (WOIO) - A Cleveland teenager was found dead after a shooting Tuesday afternoon.

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner identified the victim as Damien Michael Thompson.

The 18-year-old was located in the 13500 block of Holland Rd. around 3:15 p.m.

Brook Park Police Chief Edward Powers said officers were called out to the area for a report of a gunshot victim.

When they arrived, officers said Thompson was already deceased.

At this time there are no arrests and Chief Powers said the incident remains under investigation.
