Elyria’s Expresso Bakery looking for new owner
ELYRIA, Ohio (WOIO) - Expresso Bakery’s owner Keith Black is preparing to step away for good in 2025.
“It kind of wares down on you when you go through stuff,” said Black.
The bakery has been through a lot since it opened in November 2019.
It survived the pandemic and a horrible car crash.
Black says Sunday was their last day of the year.
“Sad because it won’t be here anymore, happy because my body can rest and I can spend time with the family,” said Black.
Black told the community earlier this month about his decision to close, but he’s hoping the legacy will live on.
“A lot of people are sad, but we’re going to try and sell the place and try to keep it going,” said Black.
Until then there are six days you can visit the bakery in 2025.
You can visit Expresso on Jan. 3-5 and Jan. 10-12.
