Medical examiner identifies Cleveland man killed in city’s Cudell neighborhood

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner identified the 38-year-old Cleveland man fatally shot on the west side Tuesday evening.

Branson Gunter was killed around 6:30 p.m. in the 2000 block of W. 105th St.

Cleveland police said Gunter was shot after an argument with another man.

When officers arrived, they found Gunter in the street with a gunshot wound.

Cleveland EMS rendered first aid, before transporting Gunter to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.

A 29-year-old man was arrested at the scene and charges are pending.
