Family raises reward to $15,000 for missing woman, asking for tips on National Missing Persons Day

BRATENAHL, Ohio (WOIO) - A family is asking for anyone with information on the whereabouts of Paige Coffey to come forward as they mark National Missing Persons Day.

Coffey has been missing for nearly seven years, having disappeared in May 2019.

Her family reported her missing days after she failed to call on Mother’s Day 2019.

“It’s been hard, holidays, birthdays, it’s been difficult,” said Lolita Polk, Coffey’s aunt. “It would just be great if people came forward and not tried to protect anyone.”

In 2024, Bratenahl police said Coffey was last seen on security footage in Steelyard Commons.

The FBI is also investigating the case, and Polk says recently assigned a new agent to the case.

“They just told us a new person is going to be assigned to the case, so hopefully a new person, with a new set of eyes, will do something,” Polk said.

The family is raising the reward to $15,000 for information leading to Coffey’s whereabouts.

“Her mom and her siblings and her cousins, they were all very close,” Polk said. “I do feel that someone knows something, just come forward, no family wants to go through this.”

Bratenahl police say the case remains open.

The FBI announced on Wednesday that it is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the location or recovery of Paige Coffey.
