Exotic animal found after escaping home in Olmsted Township

OLMSTED TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WOIO) - Olmsted Township Police have found a loose Savannah cat that escaped home on Thursday.
With the help of Lorain County Sheriff’s office, Olmsted Township Police located and returned by a deputy in Lorain County.
From Olmsted Township Police Facebook, the area is not in any threat of the exotic pet.
Savannah cats are legal to own in the state of Ohio and do not require any license or permit, according to Ohio Laws and Administrative Rules.
Olmsted Township Police say they appreciate everyone’s help in finding the animal.
